Nice try, but the great Pat Boone singing the original version, puts this poor version to shame.

A Founding Father of Rock N Roll. Anyone hear the version of "Rocky Mountain Way" he does with Joe Walsh on a Drew Cary show episode? He nailed it, something most rockers have trouble doing. Little Richard is a genuine major talent; a cultural snapshot not yet gown faded or torn.

Funny how Pat Boone's cover was popular, but Little Richard's version stood the test of time. Actually, it's not surprising. Little Richard's dynamic vocals and skill as a musician made the original unbeatable.

Someone wrote: "No one invented rock and roll...." Rock and roll was invented by musicians such as Wild Bill Moore ("We're Gonna Rock" in 1947 and "Rock And Roll" in 1948), Wynonie Harris, and Roy Brown.
