During the 60s, I would sometimes read Ross Campbell's Family Life column in the Sydney Daily Telegraph.

I remember the nicknames he gave to family members...including the one he coined for his daughter, Litlle Nell.

If you're reading this, you're probably aware that Little Nell grew up to be...well, Little Nell!

Nell's real name is Laura, but, when she moved to London and started out in her acting career, she chose to use the pet name her dad had given her when they lived in Sydney.

This track, which is sometimes known by it's alternate title of "Tropical Isle", was released in Australia in May 1976 as the flipside of an A&M 45, K6388.

The A. side was "See You Round Like A Record", which I've also uploaded to YouTube.

I actually prefer this track to the A. side...I think it has a wonderful, laid back feel, and paints a good word picture...you can almost feel the sand between your toes.

This upload is from the original 45.

It has the odd click, but...hey...that's the joy of vinyl!
