This song kinda hits close to home. I tried overdosing on my ADHD pills after a really emotion fight with my old man, weird thing was, I was calm after I took the meds, didnt have anything to eat and regretted taking the meds starting drinking as much water as I could, then stuck my whole fist down my throat till I threw up 3 times and kept doing it.. drinking water and throwing up. My dad and I sat outside on a beautiful southern June afternoon, waiting for poison control to check if I needed to go to the ER. Got there and immediately went to a room. Hooked up to a heart rate monitor because a side affect was increased heart rate. Only went to about 120/m with me just laying there. Instead of me getting my stomach pumped I had to drink a double solo cup sized drink of charcoal. Just straight up charcoal and water. It was the worst thing I ever had to ingest. Good news is I am still here, but the thought of dying actually was a sweet sound I never heard before. A calm so calm, I was ready. You'll never forget a moment like that.
