@visualvirtue This is exactly what I'm experiencing right now. I think I was 16 as well when the album came out - but I just adored that woman (for her role she played in McLeod's mostly). I just listened to the song again and think "Wow, she is so right". I'm definitely going to go back to listening to the ablum more carefully now.

Lisa's music is amazing. Not only can she sing but her songs have messages. She is what I would call a true artist. @thewaythatiam I agree, age doesn't really have anything to do with it, It's all about the person listening. ( I also have different taste from people my age! lol )

@CharlotteSCC That ain't true. Lisa wanted to stop after the second season, and before she left, she wanted to think about it, so she did the third season. And after that season she decided to leave and to have Claire killed of. There was an episode where Claire said she wanted to be buried in this land, so Claire couln't just leave and not die. Plus Lisa said in an interview that leaving Claire on the show would be a mistake, cause then the show would just stay the same, and repeat itself.

@jennydefa Lisa didn't killed Claire. The wrighters said that there was nothing left to do for Lisa/Claire, so they let Claire die. Don't blame Lisa for it, she couldnt do anything. I mean, maybe she could've done a little bit, but she didn't cause she had pease with it that she was gonna leave the series. Maybe you should do that too. So get over it, Lisa left the series in 2003, it's 2010 now!! And I think that you can't say that someone can't sing just because you "hate" her.
