It really is insane how much of a Pulp rip-off this is. When I heard this the first time on the radio I thought "What's this? a Pulp song I haven't heard yet?" I like this song for the lone reason that it sounds like Jarvis Cocker. It's like they don't even have a style of their own. I still like the song, but I really could do without the refrain ...augh XP

they were popular in germany... around 1999/2000 but if you would ask a german now "do you know liquido?", most would say "no" :(

piszą że to rockowy zespół i może coś w tym tam jest ale na miłość - to że w utworach jest gitara elektryczna i perkusja nie czyni chyba zespołu stricte rockowym, co? Wiem, że wyłamuję się nieco spod ogólnie przyjętego pojęcia tego zjawiska, ale jednakowoż chciałbym zaznaczyć, że tak uważam. Utwór ten przyjmuje wiele znamion muzyki pop i to nawet w większości. Ja uważam się za słuchającego rocka, ale ta piosenka jest daleka moim przewodnikom w tym właśnie stylu.

i think their problem is that they went more techno and less rock which isn't a good combo. they should have been majorly rock with techno influence.

@aandrebs90 According to Wikipedia, they got fired by Virgin after their third album (because they haven't been able to produce any hit song), but they've continued to play with a different label. Nevertheless they split in 2009.

@aandrebs90 They aren't popular in germany. except for their single "narcotic", which was very successful, everyone knows that song, while hardly anyone knows, which band it is.

@aandrebs90 I think they did chart, and they were rather well-known, but it wasn't like they were a great breakthrough band... more like a one-hit wonder with a few smaller ones following afterwards. And I do believe they split rather than getting fired.
