Guitar tabs for the live version of Points of Authority can be downloaded here: http://lplive.net/astat/Guitar_tabs/Live/Hybrid_Theory_Live/

Db Ab Db Gb Bb Eb tuning, this is the second live outro to Points of Authority, which was played from June through August of 2008 (as seen on the Road to Revolution DVD). It also features There They Go by Fort Minor rapped over it (just like the first one), but this one uses a different riff. Other than that, not much else to say.

The 2009 version of this outro is the same thing, except the first part of the ending before the drums come in is played with single notes on the low Db string instead of powerchords.

No...? That riff isn't even close to anything played in PTS.OF.ATHRTY.

It's pretty much the same, Brad just plays the first part before the drums come in as single notes instead of powerchords. I think APFMH sounds kind of odd over either one, really.

Is the 2009 ending of this played the same, and would APFMH be better of the old outro or not?

After the song ends you strum the 2nd fret powerchord 20 times right, or did I miscount?

It's the first letter of my first name and the first syllable of my last name. It's actually something that dates back to me playing summer league baseball as a kid, my entire team nicknamed each other that way one year.

Bit of a personal question. How did you get the name Astat?

I just burned the audio from the original Milton Keynes show download (from before RTR was released) on a CD.

exactly, I have not been playing that long and I can already play some of these songs without looking at every fret.

I agree. I just used the Road to Revolution version because I had it handy.

I don't like the version you used. Too many 222 strums. I think the best one has 5 of the 222 strums at the start and end.
