This isn't a retake, but a re-upload. Youtube allows larger video file sizes than they used to now, so I'm putting this video up in better quality than my previous upload.
Here's the uber-extended live version of Bleed it Out, in DADGBE tuning. In general, Mike sticks to his normal parts until the outro, just throwing in some random improvised bits here and there. The extra stuff I play here isn't exactly what he plays on this particular recording, but a combination stuff that he's played at various performances. The extended outro consists of 444, 222, and 000 powerchords, and the gradual speed-up ending is just several repeats of the chorus followed by the powerchords again.

@curtisdfc I really couldn't care less how boring anybody thinks any of my videos are anyway. If they think it's boring but actually learned how to play something from the video and/or tabs, then I've achieved my goal. Any other positive feedback on my videos is just a bonus.12 years ago

@curtisdfc Why should I bother putting "more energy" into something like this when it's just going to make me more likely to mess up, make me look like an idiot for jumping around in an empty room, and make it harder for people to see what I'm playing? My videos are intended to be instructional/educational in nature first and foremost, the entertainment value is secondary. If you really want to see me "perform," either come to one of my shows or wait for me to post a live performance video.13 years ago

@astatslpvids even if you in your bedroom your recording it for people to see. why would people want to see you look bored. my point was that the video was shit boring and a waste of time for people to watch! if your covering a song 'even in your parents bedroom' you should at least have some energy. you make playing guitar look like a chore more than a hobby!13 years ago
