Kinda crazy cool and different eh? It's like a mellow musical orgasm at 3:08.

What can you say about this artist, other than this kind of talent, comes once in a lifetime. Thank you Mr B....

Such a difficult vocal, no matter how you transpose it, unless you sing the "Been down..." bridge/chorus falsetto (or an octave lower). Sounds pretty rough. I'm sure that's a big reason why he changed it so much, added the effects, closed his eyes (to concentrate) the ENTIRE song (I do that unconsciously all the time when struggling to reach high parts). Glad he did it tho; one of his/FM's best songs.

I have to admit, I like this song, but do not like this version. It's almost as if he's forgotten how to play it and is struggling to get through it. The guitar doesn't sound good, either, although it is a nice Taylor. I find the vocal styling in this just disturbing. Everyone's got their opinions, and I just gave mine.

Too bad the amount of effects ruin the acoustic sound... play an electric if that's what he's after...

The guitar is amazing! The singing and snails pace ruins an otherwise truly brilliant song and musician. One of the best of all time!

The problem here is that his delay is out of synch most of the time and it's muddying the syncopation. But probably he's just plain sick of playing it straight.

I agree I don't like the delay and his guitar doesn't sound good. Also, he's got some serious receding hairline action going on. Probably why he doesn't comb it.

Naw man, he's just strange. That such an odd bird slipped through the mainstream with nary a mention of his eccentricity puzzles me. But whatever...
