I have heard Lily state on several occasions that she never wanted to be "out front" in a band and that she'd be just as comfortable playing in the back row. Yet her vocal talents and rapidly improving guitar playing - love the way she strums the strings with her entire hand, fingers and nails - place her perfectly in the mix. She is quite talented, especially as a writer. Her and her sister really know how to play their own music to perfection. Love Shannon Hayden's versatility too....she adds a lot to their live sound. Talk about dexterity in the fingers and hands!

I bought the download of this audiotree session. It was a bit of a rough experience but eventually, I got an mp3 of Lily & Madeleine's new song named "Nothing". This song is spooky it is so good. It has a great play on the title...as in, "I'm Nothing"..."You're Nothing", a great kiss-off song with some other-worldly vocalizations in harmony.These girls are very clever lyricists, great stories delivered with those lulling, soothing vocals from heaven.
