absolutelly beautiful. ladies. i sooo miss when there was a wealth of female singer/songwriters...some live on...especially melissa etheridge, but the rest? sorry to offend, but, crap! flauting their brely clothed bodies, and lip sycncing (can't spell)or treuly awful live performances, because it was all produced, and produced, etc in studios. but i believe. so believe, a new group will be here soon. and melissa...ROCK ON!

At 1:48, Paula starts doing that breathing mouthing movements which I watched the first time back when I was 14. To this day, it strikes me as awesome/WTF/bitch I own this performance!!!! LOL!!!!!

Ah, the 90's, when female music was actually good, had something of substance to say, and meant more than twerking your flat ass onstage.

Search /watch?v=Qla1TuKxKig She sung just the other day. She'll blow all your manufactured plastic popstars out of their lame 'record deals' at 45.

To give you a modern example (Recorded just her at her piano the other day!). I bet your favorite singer would be scared to sing a song as big as that. And even if they did, do they write everything? Her lyrics are genius art pieces that hit you directly. Were they the first woman ever nominated for producer of the year? Did they graduate from a prestigious music school on scholarship? Play over 10 instruments? Shes a true talent who stays true to her craft and never sold out.

1997 = Big Year for Female singer songwriters. 1998 = Paula Cole Jumps the Shark with a short lived career in beatboxing.

Stop by the nearest Kevin Gilbert video and one may get an idea of how much of a sh*t fans of true artistic integrity give about Sheryl Crow. Wasn't directed at you, sir. Just sickens me every time I see her name to know how relatively few people have ever even heard of KG... /rant
