Although we typically make vintage versions of the most current songs, we decided to switch things up this week and cover a 1989 classic- Madonna's "Like A Prayer." h/t to AR for the link to their 1920s rendition of Lady Gaga's "Bad Romance" - but I want to share this '40s swing version of Madonna's "Like A Prayer". This is the same group that did a Nawlins jazz version of "Sweet Child 'o Mine" - proving that it's not so much a bad song, it's just that Axl Rose can't sing his way out of a soggy paper bag. ;) [Hence my original reaction to the tune being that it should have been titled "Sweet Child 'o *Whine* ....]9 years ago
