Light This City broke up because they became disenchanted by the bands around them, that they were touring with. It takes a pretty thick skin to keep doing your own thing when surrounded by bands who care more about popularity than quality and engage in sound wars with each other. LTC were really passionate about the music they played but no one around them shared that passion, so they felt isolated and that gradually burned them out.
