"Take A Look" is a great slow song released in 1988 by LEVEL 42 and was the 3rd track from the Album "Staring at the Sun". Founding members Phil and Boon Gould, the band's primary songwriters, left the group prior to the making of this album in late 1987; they were replaced by guitarist Alan Murphy and drummer Gary Husband. Murphy died of AIDS-related diseases in 1989; he was replaced by the renowned fusion guitarist Alan Holdsworth.

Bij far the best musicvideo I have ever seen. Incredibly beautiful song and a divine clip in all aspects. Seems to be in New Orleans Bourbon Street. Very romantic.

Another surprising thing about this track it was very rarely played live... I brought the wembley live DVD a few years back and it does not feature on the main tracks but plays as a loop one of the extras menus. So looks like it was played live just not featured on the main track list. Maybe not a big enough hit? Would love to see Mark King play this again today with his new line up.

One of Level 42's more under rated songs in my opinion, got very little air play. Very well crafted song with nice vocals.

I don't remember this one. Could it be that it didn't fair very well in the UK charts? Pity, because it's really catchy song.
