yea wow a backup singer(s) gig on a Miley arena tour must have been a tripp and a half. 10 to 20 thousand people out in that giant living room past the front of the stage! and FACT: the first (miley/hannah) arena tour's concert documentary/movie BEST OF BOTH WORLDS might be the best "concert documentary" like ever (largely since it is cut/edited so well, between "pre-tour" and "behind the scenes" footage, chopping up the live set which was? maybe 60 min of the movie?). and wow great live band, the tour drummer (up in a cage just off of stage center, with great "from behind the drummer" little visual segments in lots of the songs) just kicked ass, great 4/4 groove from that guy.10, 20 thousand people -- i always wondered if a band/singer can see anything at all (in front of them out in to the crowd) with all the lights and flood(lights) and super trouper lights etc. ehhhhh that would kinda suck.

. ALSO: the Molly-O (letters to cleo) songs/recordings kicked ass. (i taped them all off the TV show, and then lucked into an actual "industry/band/act" CD of all the songs). letters to cleo / josie and the pussycats' gold sdtk album / the molly-o material -- hanley was actually the BEST (studio) female rock singer of the 90's. yeahh i know lots of people might say "huh? kim shattuck of the muffs, dude!" but no -- i once long ago (with the josie and the pussycats sdtk as part of the musical inventory) did a goodly-length A/B test, song/song back and forth. and who would guess? hanley won, hands down. more "bite" into the vocal tracks or something. yeah surprised me too. kim S is still rocking like a motherfucker (on guitar especially) at age 50! (when i saw their gig on a big PRB punk rock bowling gig's stage, in front of twelve hundred people, playing 2nd billed to the Detroit Cobras last may 2013. who knew? i thought she'd be "old and fat and lame" but nope. rocked like a fucking bat out of hell for 40 minutes.
