Every day in November, I'll share one of my favorite new wave tracks -- some synth-based, some guitar-based, some well-known, others less so.We'll kick off with this: Heaven 17 was founded by Ian Craig Marsh and Martyn Ware after leaving the group they co-founded, The Human League. (They wanted to stick to their electronic roots, Philip Oakey wanted a more pop sound -- which he ended up doing after they left).This was a single from October 1982, which didn't do very well in the UK (charted just outside the top 40), but got a lot of airplay on MTV and new wave-heavy radio stations in the US).Let Me Go - Heaven 17
