Sometimes you just have to ALLOW us to fall, we KNOW you will be there to assist IF we need you:):):)

This is beautiful but his live performance (Josh Groban in Concert 2002) is even better. A bit faster and the highest note is stronger. IMHO :o)

Professor Lawl hit the nail on the head. Let Me Fall (Let me Be All that I can Be). We are living in Oz with chains that bind us to the system and it takes courage to Fall away to fly on your own (consciously)....Beautifully performed by Mr Groban!

Anyone who questions the meaning of this song, watch or read about the plot of Quidam by Cirque du Soleil. It is where this song came from. Quidam is about a bored child that is neglected by her parents and falls into her imagination. It is about reaching inside for the raw human being within all of us and not being afraid to embrace what we are deep within.

I was born with cerebral palsy, and I think myself a poet. I wrote almost the same thing DO YOU HEAR THEM SINGING TOO.... I have a great fear of falling which now is causing problems and pain. As a side-note, I wrote words to a song about you and Anastasia Lee (Anya)singing together ANGEL BE WITH ME! Anya is going to be a star someday (maybe on AGT).Josh, you are from Heaven too!

it's when you are torn apart because your greatest dream is met with your greatest fear, while the 'right thing' to do is to confront the fear to reach the dream, you're worn-out and can't fight any more. So you want a (temporary)break from it all. Most people don't understand what you're going through, giving you advice without first walking in your shoe, so it's better be alone.. You know you haven't given up completely so you're begging people to just for now let you have some peace.

It's about freedom, pushing yourself to be free despite the possible outcomes, and embracing the consequences. It's about staying true to yourself and what you strive to be regardless, or in fact in opposition, of what is expected of you and what is safe, even if it means ending up alone. And that companionship-love or not- can only exist if the other person is willing to accept that and do the same. That's my interpretation at least.

It's about embracing the pain, the grief, the sadness and other similar feelings; it's about delivering yourself from the expectations, from people's judgements and misconceived stereotypes and recreate yourself, someone closer to who you wanna be, someone better and more fullfilled. And it's about the chance of failure during all that
