Guitar legend Leslie West tips his hat to guitar giant Robin Trower & Procol Harum by covering their classic scorching rocker "Whiskey Train." How cool is that?

I MET LESLIE WEST and my point is that skynyrd was a blues rock band and this song fits their style and I am a musician and your comment is absurd for it doesnt make any comparsion,,,mabye you need to listen to the some of old skynyrd tunes to understand that blues is blues and you call them floridan lames which goes to show you what a lame you are..sadly, millions of people disagree with your comment on skynyrd...also age has no bearing on maturity, one can be a jerk at 10 or 90 as you prove

Because only someone with the maturity of a 20 year old would make such a dumbass comment. Those floridian lames have absolutely not a THING to do with the brilliance of a musician like Leslie West. That's what it has do do with the song. You couldn't be a musician either, because a musician, a competent one at least, would never make such a dopey comparison.

Oh God,,,, saw Leslie @ the Fillmore East in '69, then again @ Unganos in NYC in 70. BUT THIS TIME, the Great Jimi Hendrix popped in to jam with Mountain for a few songs,,, Unbelievable! I'm now 63, but those days are seared into my brain like it was last year (even thru the Fog of all those 'funny-things' we did.)
