This is the best version, in my opinion. My custom version. There were TWO versions put out of this song. A swingier relaxed one for the LP with simpler backing vocals, etc., AND the 45 "single" version with bell jangles, and more complicated backing vocals - but less prominent rhythm section. I mixed the best parts of the two, and this one's got everything goin' on. Swing with Buddy Saltzman on drums, and double tracked Lesley and backing vocals going all over the place (by Ellie Greenwich, Jean Thomas and Mikie Harris), and hand claps, and bells! Produced by Quincy Jones; arranged by Claus Ogermann; written by Ellie Greenwich & Jeff Barry. http://www.ModCollectibles.com

Great version of the song written by Ellie Greenwich. I believe that Ellie also supplied backup vocals on this song. Also, like your video. What a classic with Audrey Hepburn. Great job! Great pairing with Ms. Gore's singing. Thanks for posting this song with the movie.

Lesley was so awesome. She was a real life superstar back when that meant something. I miss her and Karen and Dusty a lot.

Good choice using Two For the Road. Audrey's expressions go perfectly with Lesley's lyrics. Well done!

I was saddened to hear of the passing of Lesley Gore. Her music, back in the early and mid 60's never failed to put a smile on my face. From everything I've heard and read about her she was a very down to earth, caring individual, who never took herself too seriously; in spite of the fact that she was such an awesome, singer/songwriter and performer. This old world is a much poorer place without her in it. R.I.P. Lesley. I will miss you and your beautiful face & voice.
