I must say that since the time this was made, we've matured considerably, and cats get far better press than they do in this relic animation, which frankly is no longer relevant today.Moreover, in Mr. Anderson's original recording of this piece, there is no barking dog at the end, so one likes to think that the cat simply runs off of its own accord. One can also see today that cat vs. dog encounters are not as one sided as we formerly believed, so that conception is outdated.

@gozala00 yep you are right, i just played it too with my orchestra :) but at the end after the crescendo part, a girl sang a beautiful "meoooow" :P
