The context of the clip (and a subject running throughout the doc) is the gradual disintegration of the band's sound system, such that harmony singers Donna Washburn & Jennifer Warnes are invited to sing over Cohen's shoulder into one of the last operational microphones. The result is this beautiful rendition.
