Early live performance of One Of Us Cannot Be Wrong. The piano is a nice addition to the track. From a performance at the BBC in 1968.

I can play hands. If all my musical instruments were suddenly taken away, I'd use what I was born with. It's a fantastic thing to be able to do.

Beautiful song. The world is better because Leonard Cohen is still alive, singing, with his dark, sad, limping faith in human kind. Lining up with the poor in the freezing train station, rather than at the Apple store door waiting for the IPhone 6. Oh please let me come into the storm.

i lit a thin green candle to make you jealous of me, but the room just filled up with mosquitoes, they heard that my body was free. then I took the dust of a long sleepless night and I put it in your little shoe . and then I confess that I tortured the dress that you wore for the world to look through. i showed my heart to the doctor. he said I'd just have to quit. then he wrote himself a prescription, your name was mentioned in it. then he locked himself in a library shelf with the details of our honeymoon. and I hear from the nurse that he's gotten much worse and his practice is all in a ruin. i heard of a saint who had loved you, I studied all night in his school. he taught that the duty of lovers is to tarnish the golden rule. and just when I was sure that his teachings were pure he drowned himself in the pool. his body is gone but back here on the lawn his spirit continues to drool. an eskimo showed me a movie he'd recently taken of you . the poor man could hardly stop shivering, his lips and his fingers were blue. i suppose that he froze when the wind tore off your clothes. and I guess he just never got warm, but you stand there so nice in your blizzard of ice. oh please let me come into the storm.

I'm thinking about my first friend if I hear this song. Before him I didn't know Leonard Cohen and my heart melted there if I listen to his song 'Suzanne'. Leonard is a great musician and I love his deep, masculine voice.

Mr Clark is a man of taste. It's in my top Leonard five along Night Comes On, Suzanne and True Love.

Wonderful live version... The piano part is very cool... intimate feelings... The jazzy style drumming is interesting too, not in the original album track With a friend on guitar and vocals, we made a (modest) cover of this song, take a look if you have time to spend... Musically

I covered this song at a tribute night to Cohen in San Francisco, in 1993. I also did 'Avalanche'. Tremendous songwriter!

This was always my favorite Cohen song. I first heard it in high school around 1968 or 69 in an English class. Mr. Clark, thank you.
