Your vision is right, my vision is wrong. How to account for this? What did the singer see? And why has his vision not been realised, is is too pure? A world in which beauty is condemned to death by degrees. I am no lady, but I went moist when the singer decided to uphold the truth even though it meant his own death. A minor but unforgettable Gem in LC's mature production. Now he could express just about anything, seemingly without effort. This is like something you think you've heard in a dream and that surprises you when hearing it again. Why couldn't he have continued working with the producer John Lissauer, who contributed so much to the songs on "New skin for the old ceremony"?! Just listen to those discrete but colorful accents of chamber music and jazz!
