This song is actually quite low for a soprano. Has a very low tessitura and the hughest note is a C5 which any good tenor can even hit. Wrong choice for Leona! She sounds like a fiah gasping for air when singing those low notes.

Harry Nilssons version of "without you " is simply the best version of this song EVER !! Too many artists like Maria Carey, Lewis ,& Co put to many "oohs & ahhs " etc into the song and destroy the originality of the song from the 70's. I hate modern day artists taking my favourite songs from the 70's & 80's which are the two best decades in musical history and destroying them with their ohh , ahh versions. Don't get me wrong , they sing their versions beautifully , getting the high & low notes perfect etc in which ever song they are singing. I just wish they sing the songs the way they were originally sung. The best example is how the iconic Michael jackson "song for Africa " song by the great artists from the 80's was absolutely destroyed & hashed by those who tried but made a mess of it in the 90's. You can't beat the 70's, 80's originals. Im just a 70's & 80's kid. I was blessed to have been a young kid during musics greatest two decades.
