Who ever thinks that snow patrol coverd run from leona lewis knows absaloutly nothing about music as leona lewis was on the xfactor and sang this as a karaoky and that was in like 2008 run by snow patrol was released in 2006 so it is obviasly possibal that one of the best bands in history released a song in 2006 and it was a cover from a song written by a karaoky singer in 2008 get real!!!!

Snow Patrol's frontman, Gary Lightbody, conceived the idea of writing "Run" in 2000. In an interview with Michael Odell, from Q magazine, Lightbody explained the song was not written about "being a child", as he tended to say. He described: "I was on a massive bender and one night I was drinking in the bar of the Glasgow School of Art. I fell down a full flight of stairs. Jonny Quinn found me in the stairwell with blood coming out of my head ... I split my head open and my eye was closed and I lost a few teeth ... I wrote Run soon after on this little guitar

Lady's got a great voice and taste differs, but I couldn't finish listening to her cover of one of Snow Patrol's best. SP captures a mood and (elusive) meaning of the lyrics that Leona fails to. Go, run, listen to the original, you won't be sorry.

She should never of covered this song, she doesn't deserve to. Snow patrol created a great song, and now Leona Lewis sings it, and kind of ruins it. Shame, i still really like the Real Snow Patrol version though.
