The beat slows down @ 2:16, she did a pretty good job of catching it. I didn't mind her choice to do 2 verses at a very low tempo, because it offered such a climax when she came in strong - but I'd be interested to hear her come in very slow for verse 1, pick up a little in verse 2, then unleash verse 3. It'd be interesting.

While I absolutely love Leona's voice, and I think this cover is awesome, I also think that she somehow misses the mark a bit when I reflect on the lyrics of the song and what Adam Duritz meant when he wrote it. I interpreted it more along the lines of his experience with derealization/depersonalization disorder, which I'm not sure comes through as much as I'd like in this performance -- that's not to say it doesn't come through at all though.
