This is the true story of Leo's roadie who tried to elope with the daughter of the Worthing chief of police. Sadly they were stopped before they reached Gretna!

A very under-rated song - and a surprisingly complex one. Lyrics this good are hard to find, and Leo's delivery really does them justice. The key changes and phrasing required actually makes this a very hard song to sing and it takes a really skilled vocalist to pull it off. There are very few covers of this song - because its not one today's X-Factor-level muppets can even come close to to attempting

The co-writer of this beautiful song is Frank Farrell, the second bassist of Supertramp who died in 1997. Listen "Rosie had everything planned" from "INDELIBLY STAMPED" (1971). It's great!!!
