I agree man, it doesn't matter if some of the members if not all of the members have roots in christian faith or not we're all essentially the same we all have the same desires and pains.. black metal is an outlet for anyone who understands the atmosphere that black metal creates

Awesome band!!! Black Metal is a Metal sub-genre, not a closed filosophy. Satanism, Atheism, are filosophies, not Black Metal as sound. If the Christianism would like vanish of the Earth, Black Metal would lose sense? Let's wake up, there are incredible christian black metal bands. That's a fact.

@poonfisty uhhh... it's a music genre not an ideology though you can believe that if you want. Doesn't matter what its "roots" are. The roots of punk are anti-establishment/anarchy politics... that's hardly where the genre has gone now (for the most part). Still punk though.

@IcyScythe lol, Black Metal is NOT a Christian style of music. There are some sick Christian metal bands but Black Metal is rooted in anti - christianity.
