I'm suffering from a serious psychiatric condition. I think that Lene Marlin has a special insight into something that happened to me while I was committed to hospital. When the lyrics say "you" Lene is referring to me. And "she" in the lyrics is another patient I interacted with. The reason why I never thought about what the patient felt, is that I forgot about the whole thing very shortly after the incident. Many years later I remembered. I only recently becam aware of the lyrics of this song.
