I started making music when I was 17 and recorded songs with several artists over the past 20 years.

The year 2011 was an important year for my musical development. I was on the Cape Verde islands for three months. During a walk on the island of Santo Antao I passed the area Corda and became enchanted by the beauty of the landscape. I felt so proud and humbled to be part of such a beautiful piece of nature that are also my roots. This piece of nature has inspired me to write the song Kamin the Corda which is nominated. It's my first solo song I've released. I am proud of the song and my nomination and gladly share this with you in this promo video that was made for the CVMA.
