Artist Biography: Leitbur(“light¬brr”) is an on¬going electronic music project by producer Jaron Widman and

Samantha Krzyston of Los Angeles.

A graphic artist, video editor, film school alum, lover of vintage synthesizers and creative jack¬of¬all¬trades, Widman turned to music production as a creative outlet while studying in Seattle and L.A.. Leitbur was formed in 2007 as a produced¬by¬email electronic rock project with Widman’s brother, Jonathan, but it later evolved into a solo venture that combines synthpop, electro shoegaze, 80s new wave, chillwave, and nu¬disco. Then, in 2012, he began collaborating with his fiancée, Chicago¬to¬LA transplant Samantha Krzyston. They recently released their latest EP, The Moment That I Knew You.

About The Video: We let the streets of L.A. speak for themselves in our new video, and they say this: "WTF is that fat dude in the wig and g-string doing riding his bike down Santa Monica?" "Strange in L.A." is an ode to the city and all of the weird experiences that happen in it. The video is made up of handpicked Creative Commons clips comprised of bystander cell phone footage and bad entertainment PR reels. And rendered on top of it all, a layer of animation that adds anonymity and even more strange.
