Shooting this music video was one of the craziest experiences of my life! To access the stone ruins, the entire crew of 15 people had to traipse through the woods at night with all our gear - crossing rickety bridges and climbing uneven terrain. Our official trail guide was a trooper and stayed with us the entire night, swinging in a tree hammock. We didn't finish shooting until 5:00 am, but it was a total blast. It was eerily serene watching the sun rise as we drove back to Atlanta that morning...

The next night, we filmed all the underwater footage at a residential pool. Diving in for repeated takes with my full outfit (boots included!) was an amusing challenge, and we almost drowned a couple of times… but all in the name of art! XD

~~SPECIAL THANKS~~

- To the entire cast and crew - not only for working hard, but also for making the entire experience so awesome!

- To my amazing Kickstarter backers, without whom this video would not be possible

- To my dear friends, Larry Oji and Paige Rohe, for hosting me in Atlanta that week. You guys rock!

~~LYRICS~~

Deep in the brume of juniper and fern,

A moon overhead and stones at my feet,

I walked through a veil of cypress and birch

And came to a surface painted with leaves.

Voiceless, a child appeared in the brush

And smiled with a hush, all dusty and tanned.

But before I could speak, she ran to my side

And knelt with a flow’r she placed in my hand.

Dancing, singing, voices ringing

Rising, falling, giving, being

Waiting, growing, teaching, knowing

Waxing, waning, ebbing, flowing

Faces gaze upon me.

Ageless figures come alive.

Deep in the brume of juniper and fern,

A moon overhead and stones at my feet,

I walked through a veil of cypress and birch

And came to a surface painted with leaves.

Voiceless, a mother came with her child

And smiled with a hush, all rosy and tanned.

But before I could speak, she walked to my side

And knelt with a key she placed in my hand.

Without a sound, they mouthed the words of mystery,

And I knew no translation for the history they gave to me.

Deep in the brume of juniper and fern,

A moon overhead and stones at my feet,

I walked through a veil of cypress and birch

And came to a surface painted with leaves.

Voiceless, a crone appeared in the brush

And smiled with a hush, all twisted and tanned.

But before I could speak, she fell at my side

And lifted a tome she placed in my hand.

So my take on this video; a beautiful, young woman wonders in a mythical wood, lured by the mirror *it's a TRAP!* Cornered by majestic nymphs, who take a liking to her youth and beauty--and decide to steal it from her! Hence the faery makeover, while she's entranced, they gradually change her, hair grays, her looks decaying, replaced with elfin tattoos, a mask, so she'll forget who she was...But she awakens and escapes into the lake! (Or she drowned!) This is so much like stories from Brian Froud 'Bad Faeries' books! On par with Morgan le Fay or Queen Mab.

Hey guys, last wednesday some human-deer with long white hair pulled my on a chair and drew me a beard. Now I'm their forest queen, they said.

This is simply.... stunning... I have no words to describe such feeling, seeing one of my favorite songs from one of my favorite games come to this, from a song so bland and simple to this equally eerie but much more elaborated and meaningful version.... I've never been so speechless
