I think that combining books worked (at least somewhat) in Legend of the Guardian's case, but Wings of Fire would need to be five separate movies to do the books any justice. Each book in Wings of Fire focuses on an different character, only for that book, so in order to combine them without changing protagonist halfway through the film (probably not a wise bet), you'd have to majorly restructure the story. I like the books the way they are, and wouldn't like that. Guardians of Ga'Hoole is set up where the protagonist (or group of) remains fairly consistent through much of the series, so you could combine books in this and 39 Clues without loosing much.

like watched this movie when i was little this was my favorite movie growing up. and when i watched this movie is stared liking owls and now my favorite owl the main charater was sorn because he's a barn owl and ban owls are my favorite type of owl.
