That's the working man's blues! This sings right to the sole when you feel that your relationship is not going well. Not like today's shit which they sing about getting some fine piece of ass in their pickup truck.

back in '71-73 AM Radio was dominated by John Denver, Dottie West, JOhnny Cash, and GOrdon Lightfoot among the Western Music genre. So I never heard of Lefty Frizzel passing way ...in fact didnt discover his music till i was 48 yrs. old..which is the same age he passed away. But Lefty's music is treasure among my top 3 western singers of all-time. I believe actor Jack Black could do a great job in a LeftyFrizzel Film Biopic...although I'm sure Country Fans wouldnt agree even though Mr. Black can play guitar. The Song 'She found the Key' captures the feeling of a 15 yr married husband falling in love with a new woman to a 'tee'. Not that its happened yet.

My sister and her husband will be married 23 years in June. I am sending this song to them by way of their facebook page. It s perfact for a couple who still love each other AND married because they want to be

Seems Marty seems to try to get all he can from people, when my friends wife Patsy Cline died on the plane clash in 63 about 9 yrs. ago he started in on her husband trying to get what he could from him, marty is nothing and will never be nothing to me.but a BUM

Read the book by his brother David Frizzell. Lefty didn't kill anybody.

He is certainly the most unappreciated of those 4. I'd love to put Jerry Lee in there!

David is Lefty's younger brother
