Good tune, but what made me laugh was in Bonanza there was an ep called Trouble with Trouble and the town was called Trouble.

Thank you for your comment my friend. To me he's a big legend, and will always be. He was very popular in Sweden in the late 60's and 70's. Did a lots of TV-shows and recorded songs together with several Swedish female singers. He's one of the great ones in my oppinion.

this song reminds me of my ex girlfriends, one has a father in jail and she turned out not so great, but she still keeps a smile on her face. I just saw a mugshot of another one, didn't expect that.

I'm sorry if i sounded arrogant, but I was sure I'm right,I've been a Lee Hazelwood fan since the early sixties,I've got most of his albums, so I know what records he made. But he produced Sanfords early recordings, and also wrote many songs for him, so it wasn't so strange if he made some of them sounded the way he wanted them to, with other words, the way he would sing them himself. Have a wonderful weekend, and take care.

Can't you hear that it's the same voice??? It's from an LP that Lee is singing all the songs. Please listen to Sanfords version on You Tube, than you could hear the difference. Please do that. Listen also to Lee's Long Black Train.Trouble Is A Lonesome Town,it's from the same album. I promise you that this is Lee singing,Sanfords version have a whole different backing, and was recorded for Jamie Records in 1959,Lee's version was recorded 1963 for the Mercury label.

lee is doing the intro, but sanford is doing the singing - lee wrote the song but did NOT record it untill years later.
