Lee Aaron - Barely Holding On - Power Rock Vocals video free download
Before there was Doro Pesch there was Lee Aaron - the quintessential female Rock screamer. She really WAS the female version of Ronnie James Dio. She could scream with the best of them.
"Barely Holding On" is off her 'Call of the Wild" LP from 1985 and is my second favorite song of hers. Forget the "Cowardly Lion" facial hair, semi-awkward, cheesy band mates or the creepy child molester theme of the video - LISTEN to the delivery of this vocal. Probably one of THE best and most powerful female Rock performances from the 1980's.
On top of that - she was (and still is) smoking hot.
