Someone please educate me... How did they know when to come back from the solo? I mean because it is improvised... Did they plan the "solo is gonna be X bars"?? Or simply pay attention for when Page played those chords at the end of the solo, like a sign?Also how did Page know where he was at the solo? I mean since he was the only guitarist and the bass was just holding the F#, there wasnt a way for the soloist to guide to the rhythm. How did he guide himself then? Was he counting the beats and bars? His soloing sound very loosen and musical, not like he is playing the licks right inside on the beats/bars but at the same time he keeps track of the bars/tempo.
