Jimmy Page is using a Telecaster here. This was his main guitar from his early days in the Yardbirds, up until perhaps the second Zeppelin Album. He moved on to a Gibson Les Paul. The telecaster sound, is what really drove the guitar work and gave him that snappy fuller sound. For live performances later on in Zep's career he went with the Les Paul as it gave him a bigger sound. I however think Telecasters rule and if people want to cover page should use one!
