@triffiks What's your name on facebook? Mine is Jane Ralston Pahr.. Grazie. I knew it was based on the AIDS quilt which I saw at UCLA but never saw the show. Hasn't lost it's power though as far as the songs go and people are still dying of course it applies not only to AIDS but to life and ... letting go

Ill never forget the gasps of astonishment that came from the audience when a young small child walked on stage and said her monologue, it wasnt wideley known that it could be caught through having blood transfusions.Me an the rest of the crew and im sure the cast were drained emotionally but the message is so important Id work on the production tomorrow if i had the chance )0( J

@janepahr if anyone wants a copy Bill has tolfd me to tell you to email him at [email protected] and he will sell yoou a copy. Im going to get a copy from him too. Apparently reason why its hard to find the score etc has never actually been published. Hope you get one and please stay in touch.;In the early 90s Uk people were really uneducated about the virus and the production had, between sonjgs) monologues by people expining their experiences before they died.

@janepahr it certainly was. it was originally going to be called "the Quilt" after the Aids Quilt that was laid out in central park in New york, there were hundreds of p[ieces of tapistry representing somewone who had died of thge |Aids virus. it wasnt just singing, there were also monologues in which the actor described their experiences and they sent about a dozen of the quilts and we hung them up around the auditorium.People were fairly uneducated about aids in early 90s
