Klar meint industrial was andres, bin ja nicht doof. Throbbing Gristle, SPK und wie sie alle heissen... War nie mein Ding. Ich spreche lieber von electro-industrial, wenns um Skinny Puppy oder FLA geht, aber eigentlich nur weil ich finde das industrial einfach cool klingt. Man könnte das auch durchaus EBM, aggrotech oder dark electro nennen.

Hab aber in Deutschland Sachen wie Leather Strip schon genug oft als Industrial bezeichnet gehört. Auch in Musikzeitschriften, da in letzter Zeit tatsächlich deutlich weniger. Yea - Unfortunately, many American's especially the "Kinder-Goths" and Kid "Rivet-Heads" don't learn about the past evolution of any music genre. They just throw crap out there. Most don't even know that, Einstürzende Neubauten liked to blow shit up, pound on oil barrels, and grind steel plates to a rythem as a, "performance art." Funny how things develop.
