Lay Up Under Me - Beyonce | Sorah Yang (Korea Workshop) video free download

I got the amazing privilege of being able to teach in Korea this past month, and this video captures 1 of 3 classes I taught during my trip.

The story behind this piece is simple: I was home alone and just wanted to dance. I've always loved this song, so I started freestyling to it and this "routine" is what resulted. Due to the fact that it's extremely different from what I usually create and share publicly, I almost didn't teach this piece because I was afraid that people wouldn't accept it/were expecting to learn a certain style from me. But watching these talented dancers enjoy themselves and do so well in class made me beyond happy that I took a risk, and has inspired me to continue to do so as I create and teach in the future. Don't set limiting boundaries on yourself; you are capable of more than you think!

To all the people and students I met in Korea: Thank you for making the trip so memorable by sharing all your warm, enthusiastic, and positive energy with me. Special shout out to Young J, Jerri, and Timon for believing in me and for making this all possible. Love and miss you guys!
