I've been listening to Lauryn's Unplugged album for a few days now... And I'm wondering if this song is sound, doctrine wise.Everything around it edifies according to the word, but then she says, "Rebel."And it causes me confusion, or rather it raises red flags.The bible says rebellion is as the sin of witchcraft. in 1 Samuel 15:23:" For rebellion is as the sin of witchcraft, and stubbornness is as iniquity and idolatry. Because thou hast rejected the word of the Lord, he hath also rejected thee from being king."Is this strictly rebellion against God's law, or rebellion in general?May a brother or sister int he word help out?

@ afroditee33 the sad thing is that it's not prophetic. This has hapened so many times. Far too many people have fought this fight and have died in the process. The Civil Rights movement that began in the sixties, though has ended is still not finished. The sad thing is that it seems like those in power still just don't care. The sad truth in this country is that it's not illegal to kill a black man. Lynchings are still done today people have just chosen to use a gun instead of rope.
