I saw this tour as well. Strange Angels is one of my favorite pieces of music of all time. And her note on the back of the cd insert to the late R. Mapplethorpe is a thing of great beauty as well.

If memory serves she had all these cool moving panels, and the mix (here in Pittsburgh) was really well balanced, super stereo. It was in the (now torn down) Syria Mosque. The best music venue Pittsburgh ever had.

Thank you so much for posting this footage. I absolutely loved this album. Saw this tour in Toronto. She also gave a lecture at the Ontario College of Art and showed a retrospective of her work. Beautiful song the final refrain makes me want to cry.

Where are all of the Strange Angels Tour videos? The show was visually stunning, in addition to being musically amazing. It's one of those shows that when people ask me about concerts I can't help but say it was one of the best I ever saw.
