So difficult to say which is her best. So many hit you in different ways, such beauty and talent, makes you sad to see what we have now in comparison to what we did.

The world is way less without you, Laura. Come back.

She told you to PROTECT the earth 20 years ago. Are we hearing her , yet??????? Or should we allow corporate GANGSTERS to rape the planet for their personal gain. Angels don't come here often. HEED her words. Wake up! No planet, no music.

i've been listening to Ms Nyro since 1967 and she STILL brings me to tears ... never had the opportunity to see her perform - something i regret - but the world is a better place because of her and her music !!! i love the line: "Emily you ornament the earth for me" - taken too soon, sorely missed. R.I.P.

Saw Laura Nyro at the Filmore East -a week before Christmas. It was a solo performance. She was dressed in a red gown alone at a huge baby grand piano. She was magnificent. I wish I could remember the exact year, however, time has past oh, so quickly and now I am a grandmother. I know I was in high school & had 2 sneak out of the house to take the bus to NY then back before school started the next day. I am so pleased to see a new generation of fans who appreciate her artistry and talent! RIP<3

I saw Laura Nyro in 1968 at the original Troubadour in west Hollywood. Twice. She was taken from us way too soon, and I will always treasure seeing and hearing her in a small cabaret setting. I met her briefly and told her she was wonderful.

Let me bring you back to when this song was new. We were sitting in the first row of the Fillmore East. She opened the show with this "new" song. Christmas and The Beads of Sweat was not out yet. In fact, she read the lyrics to "Christmas In My Soul" as a poem. We all looked at each other as she played Brown Earth, and we were in heaven...as if to say "she did it again". There was no feeling like loving Laura Nyro in the late 60s/early 70s.
