The "whimsy" contained in "Laura" is an almost perfect foil for the Bird's meandering in and out of this beautiful melody. From start to finish it's "Bird" as only he could do it. I award 4 stars

Thank God for YouTube!!! I'd never heard this recording before today!!! I wish they would have filmed this performance!!!!!!!! Such a shame that there are only two pieces of footage with Bird playing....and one of them HAS NO SOUND!!!!!!! While they were filming all kinds of foolishness around New York!!!!!
