We sang this piece in a school choir of 12 year olds. Our music teacher divided us into 2 groups and the Tempo was faster. The first group would start out singing then the second group would join in at a higher pitch. It was beautiful and Ive never heard it sung that way again on any of the songs on utube.9 years ago

This is indeed the best version I've heard to this day. But the version used in 'Inspector Morse', with Barrington Pheloung and Janis Kelly is very beautiful too... (it's on Volume 1 of the Inspector Morse soundtrack).9 years ago
