Is it just me or does anybody else imagine Jack Skeleton signing when you hear this?

P.S., It was so much fun, getting a boot in the eye, in the pit @ Marriot's Great America show, when I was 15 years old! I've been in love with you ever since!

Just heard (will hear in person in a little over a month and a half) Danny singing the "please silence your cell phones" etc. at Cirque du Soleil's Iris. Can't wait, and can't wait to hear the music he's composed for it. BTW, he still sounds great!

Danny is such a fantastic singer and a composer with such sophisticated and still-relevant pop sensibilities, yes I really wish he, and Bartek as guest, would get together again to create another album, so dearly. That was the chemistry for me. That toney guitar was just as distinctive to me as Danny's fondness for tritones.

WOW! This song brings me back to a time in my life that I haven't visited in a long time...it's ALL GOOD! I've seen Oingo Boingo in concert at least 20 to 30 times, and they never get boring EVER!

I am pretty sure that speakers do not break the bones, I think it takes something more like a gunshot or explosion so yeah I would say it is the hairs in the cochlea. I know nothing about any drops but I am pretty sure that drops do not repair that kind of damage..... Yeah I am just glad to hear his music at all....soundtracks are my favorite.

@lironess Good point. But do you mean the 3 little bones *ossicles* or the hairs in your cochlea? Lol sorry, I'm in anatomy, just finished this chapter yesterday actually. I just remember hearing something or other about some new hearing treatment stuff, and i thought these drops were one of those things...idk. Well, as long as he makes music in general, I'm happy and satistfied. :)

@dragonholder411 There are little hairs in your ears that vibrate so that you can hear. If they break off that is it they can not be replaced. Being in front of loud speakers could damage his hearing to the point where he can not hear at all. Who would want that? Especially if your life is based around music. I think the point is to save what hearing he still has. Life with a hearing aid sucks. They don't work anywhere the same as real hearing...

@lironess Don't they have some new radical ear drops they're making to help restore hearing or something? And if not that, why not just get like a hearing aid? That seems like it would help Danny boy since he's not doing concerts anymore *sniff sniff tear*.

@postyesterdayman Not sure that is an option when you are in front of a screaming audience. I have been there, at the last concert, it was freaking loud. I am sure that was not what the Dr. ordered.

@lironess as a composer w/ hearing problems, just turn it down.

@PigsOnTheWingpart2 I think that standing in front of the speakers may make his hearing even worse.
