I wonder how many listeners realise how incredibly difficult it is to sing truly well with only single-note instruments, no chords, as accompaniment. Each of these people is phenomenally good at what he or she does; together they are better than the sum of even four superb parts. There's some combination of raw talent, excellent education, intense practice and a gutsy kind of savoir-faire that lets them take blinding risks for the fun of it that is driving this band to lasting renown.10 years ago
