In practice, it is easy to develop immunity on that kind of propaganda - most people are unable to react strongly on any art. But if you pay attention, it is indeed, in some moments very powerful. In early 1980's Slovenian (ex Yugoslavia, like Croatia) rock band *Laibach* tried to produce art using totalitarian forms and symbols, but devoid of any (or any typical) content. Idea is, in my opinion, quite shallow - but in some moments, they were successful. Try watching this video (loud!), focus, and see for yourself whether you react on that kind of art.

The costumes, lighting and scenery are straight out of some of Goebel's early propaganda films; a briliant recreation. I found myself getting increasingly angry watching this video for the first time until I recognized the source of it's inspiration. I still get pissed off when I watch it, but the performance is excellent.
