she's concentrating too much on the visuals and all the paraphernalia around her performances...she should focus on learning to use her voice as a real instrument aka Billie Holliday, or Frank Sinatra, Elton John, etc many others, if she wants her music to last. The visuals got old after a while - it becomes schlocky - concentrate on the writing of good songs and use your voice as a instrument with more ranges of dynamics and feelings and then you'll be a really genius artist....still a work in progress....live life a bit more and take time off to become an artist without all the 'stuff' around it...use the voice as an instrument that lasts forever...woody guthrie, bob dylan, etc etc etc.

Oh Gaga ;) I'm so happy every era and album of hers has these emotional, acoustic piano songs. My favorite Gaga record is her newest one..meaning it always changes, as she does. ARTPOP will be epic bc it spans her entire discography and there's a song from every genre, including I Wanna Be With You, another beloved heartfelt ballad like this one. ARTPOP is more Stefani than Gaga and I know it will be her best yet! #Venus October 27th! <3 <3 <3 +++

Listen to the studio version. Look up Honest Eyes Official Lady Gaga Unreleased posted by omarmonster14. That's the only official studio version that I could find. You can tell she sounds different.

I love this song, but this is a little painful to watch because at this time she was smoking pretty heavily and her voice suffered because of it. I'm glad her voice has recovered from this. She still does a great job capturing the emotion of the song though
