The likeness with of this song and Restless Oblivion it's understandable. Lacrimas were big fans of Anathema said by themselves and you can see that in the sense that while Anathema was changing Lacrimas were too and moving in the same direction from album to album until both bands took very very different roads away from Doom and Metal altogether... Memorandum and Burning: A Wish were testimonies of this when you compare them to The Silent Enigma, Judgement and Alternatve 4.

@insightliviu Well, you mean old Anathema... if Anathema hate to sound like Anathema, at least someone else doesn't... that said, even these guys have changed their style dramatically, so not even they sound like this anymore. But yeh, this does remind me of old skool Anathema, I love it.

@finmithmor Sad truth! =( I dont mind progression and change, but certain bands mistake progression with selling out. These guys did not progress, nor have Anathema. An example of progression was Kill em all to And Justice for all or Black Sabbath to Master of Reality...
